On November 25, 2023, Santa, OPP mascot Rosie, uniform and auxiliary members of the Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Rotary Club of Hawkesbury, held their « Annual OPP Food Drive » at the Asselin Your Independent Grocer on Cameron Street in Hawkesbury. Because of the great generosity of our citizens, we were able to collect $4,000 in cash donations, and approximately $1500 in food donations for the local food banks. The Hawkesbury OPP detachment thanks Asselin Your Independent Grocer for their hospitality, and the generous people of Hawkesbury for all their contributions.
