(Press release) The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue investigating an incident of child luring that occurred November 2, 2021 at approximately 11:00 a.m.
Initial Investigation revealed that a male, approximately 35 years old, was seen speaking to two 10 year old girls, at the Hawkesbury Municipal Skate Park.
The male was attempting to lure the girls, but because of the intervention of a passerby who told them to run away, the girls did and were not harmed.
The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual in relation to this child luring incident. The accused was held for bail and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on November 24, 2021.
